Mercado Bitcoin Hosts Third Digital Asset Conference in São Paulo

The Mercado Bitcoin is hosting its third edition of the Digital Asset Conference (DAC), the largest institutional meeting for digital assets in Latin America. The event aims to promote debate and discussion on the future of cryptocurrencies, strategies in the sector, and the impact of global trends.

The conference will take place on September 16 at the Teatro B32 in São Paulo, featuring over 15 speakers and more than 500 attendees. The DAC is part of the DAC Week, which includes a closed meeting for leaders to discuss priority themes for the next two years.

Roberto Dagnoni, Chairman of Mercado Bitcoin, emphasizes that the DAC was created to establish Brazil as a global reference point for digital asset discussions, and this year's edition reinforces that position. The conference will cover topics such as the current state of Bitcoin, tokenization, regulation, stablecoins, institutional infrastructure, and the convergence of digital assets with traditional capital markets.

Key speakers include Otto Lobo, President of the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), who will participate in a session on tokenization and regulation. Jason Holloway, Director of Policies for Fintechs at The Florida Office of Financial Regulation, will also be present to discuss international regulatory advancements.
