$META Price Plummets Over 23%, Analysts Weigh in on Buying Opportunity
The price of MetaDAO's native token $META has taken a wild ride in recent days. The token spiked to near $7 before plummeting over 23%. This sharp move has left analysts wondering if this is a buying opportunity or a sign of further volatility.
META's chart on TradingView shows that the price is currently trading above a rising support trendline built from mid-to-late July's higher highs and lows. The Exponential Moving Average (EMA) 20 sits at $5.5692, while EMA 50 is at $5.1220. However, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) 14 reads a neutral 47.80, indicating that the sell-off has not pushed momentum into oversold territory.
Zooming out to the daily chart, META's price has been carving out a potential rounding-bottom pattern since December 2025. This pattern is not yet confirmed and requires a break above the $6.5895 resistance zone for validation. Analysts at CoinGabbar believe that holding the $5.0592 support line keeps the short-term structure intact, opening a retest of the EMA 20/resistance zone near $5.6301-$5.6692.
