Meta Veteran Hired as COO for Nscale Ahead of $3 Billion IPO
Nscale, an AI-focused data center builder based in London, has hired Justin Osofsky as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Osofsky spent 18 years at Meta in multiple senior roles, most recently as chief partnerships officer.
He will report to CEO Josh Payne and take charge of Nscale's global operations, which have grown significantly since the company was spun out of a cryptocurrency mining business in early 2024.
Nscale has filed for a New York IPO to raise up to $3 billion and finance equipment that can keep up with AI's relentless computing needs. Its partners include Nvidia Corp. and Microsoft Corp.
