Metaplanet Expands Bitcoin Holdings to 44000 BTC After Q3 Moves

Metaplanet has boosted its Bitcoin holdings to 44,000 BTC after acquiring 1,000 BTC on a net basis in Q3. As of September 30, the Tokyo-listed company demonstrated its ability to convert Bitcoin into cash by selling 10,000 BTC and later repurchasing 11,000 BTC. This strategic move was intended to strengthen its credit position and improve access to financing.

The firm plans to leverage its Bitcoin Income Generation business to create recurring revenue, which will support future Bitcoin purchases. Metaplanet's actions reflect a deliberate strategy to balance liquidity and long-term accumulation of Bitcoin.
