Metrix Acquires Poolfish, Expanding LP Analytics Capabilities
Metrix Finance has acquired Poolfish, a liquidity provision analytics platform, and migrated all of its LP and lending tools onto the Metrix application. The deal was announced by Metrix founder Jake Call, who framed it as a 'homecoming' for the original tool, with Metrix and Poolfish described as 'branches of the same tree.'
Prior to being acquired by Metrix, Poolfish was rebranded from Uniswap.fish by indie founder Noah Bragg in 2023. The platform provided range and return estimates for Uniswap v3 LPs and had been used by more than one million liquidity providers over its lifetime.
Metrix itself started as a fork of the open source Uniswap.fish codebase under the name BuildrMetrics in August 2023 before being rebuilt into its current product. The acquisition places Poolfish's functionality under a full-time product team at Metrix, which offers broader DEX and chain coverage, backtesting, portfolio tracking, lending analytics, and paid Pro/Elite tiers.
Existing Poolfish calculator links now redirect to Metrix, opening the same pool with the range pre-filled. Functionality that previously existed on Poolfish is now accessible within Metrix, alongside a broader feature set. The deal also includes commercial terms that have not been disclosed.
