MEXC Dominates Order Book Liquidity for SOL and DOGE
CoinGecko's 2026 Crypto Liquidity on CEXes report measured order book depth for five major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), across eight exchanges over a 60-day window from July 6 to September 3, 2026.
MEXC posted the highest liquidity in SOL ($118.46 · Live) with approximately $934,000 available at market price, as well as DOGE ($0.10 · Live) with more than $443,000 in liquidity at market price.
According to the report, MEXC's lead in DOGE liquidity held beyond the immediate market price, extending past a plus-or-minus $0.0006 price range and leveling off at roughly $2 million on each side of the order book once the range widened beyond 1%.
MEXC's chief executive stated that 'deep liquidity is therefore central to how MEXC lowers barriers to trading and provides more efficient access to global market opportunities,' framing the CoinGecko findings as validation of the exchange's market-making and liquidity provisioning efforts on mid-cap tokens specifically.
