MEXC has released its January-February 2026 security report, highlighting the exchange's commitment to asset protection and regulatory compliance. The report documents $4.09 million in intercepted fraud, with 34 successful blocks totaling this amount.

The reported cases originated from coordinated rings in CIS, East Asia, and SEA, all of which were identified and restricted before assets could be moved. This indicates that MEXC's operational rigor is effective in preventing large-scale scams.

MEXC also processed 924 user recovery claims, returning $553,228 in mistaken transfers. The exchange maintains substantial reserve ratios across major assets: Bitcoin reserves exceed user holdings by 266%, while Ethereum, USDT, and USDC maintain coverage of 112%, 117%, and 124% respectively.
