MEXC Sees 3,308% Spike in Stock Futures Volume Across Asia

Share

Wall Street trading has seen a significant boom on crypto exchanges, particularly on MEXC, which reported a massive 3,308% increase in average daily stock futures volume across Asia quarter-over-quarter. This growth is largely driven by the demand for leveraged products, such as perpetuals.

The report also found that the number of daily traders increased by 386% over the same period. Southeast Asia recorded the fastest volume increase at 6,648%, alongside a 399% rise in daily users. MEXC's spot products grew from a smaller base, with average daily stock spot volume increasing 348% in Q2 and 87% in Q3 through August.

MEXC's CEO Vugar Usi attributed this growth to Asian investors wanting one funded account to cover more of their trading. Stablecoin balances allow users to move among crypto, gold, equities, and indices without funding a separate brokerage account.
