MicroStrategy Buys $76M in Bitcoin, Total Holdings Now Worth $71.9B
Strategy, the parent company of MicroStrategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR), has acquired 950 Bitcoin for $75.7 million, as revealed in a recent SEC filing.
The purchase occurred between September 14 and 20 at an average price of $79,670 per coin.
This marks the first significant Bitcoin acquisition by Strategy since August 31, when it bought 4,603 BTC.
Strategy's total holdings now stand at 846,000 Bitcoin (BTC), worth approximately $71.9 billion, with an average purchase price of $75,416 per coin for a total cost of $63.8 billion including fees.
