MicroStrategy Resumes Bitcoin Buying Spree With $75.7 Million Purchase

MicroStrategy's Bitcoin treasury company, Strategy Inc., has resumed buying Bitcoin after a three-week hiatus. In an 8-K filing submitted on Monday, the company revealed that it purchased 950 Bitcoins during the week ending September 20 at an average price of $79,670 per coin, including fees.

The purchase cost MicroStrategy a total of $75.7 million and brought its holdings to 846,000 Bitcoins, with a cumulative purchase cost of $6.38 billion and an average price of $75,416 per coin.

This is the company's first Bitcoin purchase since August, when it rebuilt investor confidence by restructuring its balance sheet and establishing reserves.
