MicroStrategy, the company once known as MicroStrategy, has shifted its priorities from accumulating Bitcoin to managing liquidity. For years, CEO Michael Saylor's strategy involved raising capital and converting it into Bitcoin, holding it for the long term.

In a recent filing, the company revealed that during the week ending July 19, 2026, it did not purchase any additional BTC. Instead, MicroStrategy sold approximately 2.73 million MSTR shares, generating $263.5 million in net proceeds and increasing its U.S. dollar reserve to $3.225 billion.

MicroStrategy's Bitcoin holdings remained unchanged at 843,775 BTC, purchased for an aggregate cost of around $63.69 billion, with an average purchase price of $75,476 per BTC.
