Middle East Tensions Squeeze Crypto Market, Bitcoin Dips Towards $80K
Bitcoin's rally towards $82,000 was halted by Middle East tensions, which weakened demand for risk assets and led to a decline in the broader crypto market.
The total cryptocurrency market value fell by around $40 billion over the day, dropping to approximately $2.74 trillion.
Bitcoin itself dropped 1.11% to $80,372.17 over 24 hours, with several major altcoins posting deeper losses.
Avalanche was an exception, rising more than 11% to trade above $9.60.
