Midnight Ditches Dedicated Dev Team for Broader Ecosystem Support
Midnight, a Cardano-linked privacy project, is changing its approach to supporting developers and builders in its ecosystem. The project has decided to wind down its dedicated Developer Relations team as it shifts focus towards a broader model that includes not just traditional developers but also founders, designers, operators, and industry specialists.
The goal of this new strategy is to make Midnight's blockchain ecosystem more accessible to people who may not have advanced coding skills. The project wants to widen the definition of builders beyond those who write and deploy code, as AI tools become increasingly accessible for non-technical users.
Midnight plans to focus on AI-native development tools, simpler onboarding processes, and programs that guide builders from early concepts to deployed applications. Existing programs such as Build Club and Night Sky will form part of the new ecosystem strategy.
The project's foundation has rejected claims that AI will replace developers, stating that the goal is to widen participation by bringing in a diverse group of builders who can use AI tools to create products.
