Midnight Poised to Outpace Zcash, Hoskinson Predicts

Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, believes Midnight will outgrow Zcash in value. In a September 28 post on X, he pointed to features such as selective disclosure and private agents, combined with its own DeFi kernel designed for all major chains.

Hoskinson's claim comes as NIGHT, the token for Midnight, trades near $0.027, while Zcash changes hands around $1,600. The two assets have a recent correlation of 0.87, meaning they tend to move together in price.

However, Hoskinson believes Midnight will eventually surpass Zcash's valuation. To achieve this, NIGHT would need to grow roughly 59-fold from its current market cap of approximately $443 million.
