Millions of USDT From Sanctioned 1xBet Pass Through Crypto Exchanges

A recent investigation has uncovered millions of USDT that passed through accounts on crypto exchanges Binance, Bybit, BingX, and Bitget. The funds may have originated from illegal casinos and the sanctioned 1xBet.

The first cluster linked to the Kyiv region's Byshiv saw 4,671 deposit and withdrawal transactions on Binance between May 2022 and July 2026. The total turnover was approximately $5.55 million, with around $2.94 million entering the account and $2.61 million withdrawn.

The combined turnover on both exchanges is estimated at about $9.17 million. However, as of August 6, 2026, only about $48,000 remained on Bybit, indicating that most funds did not accumulate in the accounts but were transferred further.
