Miners Send 19,866 BTC to Binance: What Does it Mean for Bitcoin?
A significant transfer of Bitcoin from miners to Binance occurred on September 21, with nearly 20,000 BTC being sent to the exchange.
This marks a notable movement in the cryptocurrency market, as amounts of this size are often monitored for potential selling pressure. However, CryptoQuant has pointed out that transfers of similar sizes in the past have not been immediately followed by sharp price drops.
In fact, according to data shared by CryptoQuant, most movements around or above 20,000 BTC sent from miners to exchanges since August 25 have not led to an immediate decline in Bitcoin's price. This suggests that the market may be able to absorb this flow without a significant impact on the price.
CryptoQuant also notes that miners can sell some of their production during periods of strong prices to cover expenses such as electricity, cooling, maintenance, and staffing. However, it's worth noting that the entire transfer was not necessarily sold or converted into a sale.
