Mirae Asset Transforms Korbit into Digital X with Tokenized Asset Strategy

Share

Mirae Asset has finalized its acquisition of Korbit, a South Korean cryptocurrency platform, after obtaining regulatory clearance. The company now owns 97.15% of Korbit and has rebranded it as Digital X.

The new platform focuses on tokenized real-world assets, security tokens, and stablecoin integration, bridging traditional financial systems with decentralized blockchain technology.

Digital X will provide seamless access to existing services for current Korbit users, with trading functionality, deposit capabilities, withdrawal processes, and account management unaffected by the ownership change.
