Moca Chain Mainnet Revolutionizes Private Digital Identity

Moca Chain has launched its mainnet, a Layer 1 designed for private digital identity across users, businesses, and AI agents. The network allows organizations to issue verifiable credentials while users retain custody of their identity data. This approach reduces repeated Know Your Customer (KYC) checks without forcing people to share the same sensitive documents with every platform.

AIR, Moca Network's identity, payments, and loyalty layer, is already running on the chain. The system enables financial platforms, telcos, retailers, and ticketing services to verify users and issue tamper-proof credentials under a unified digital identity. Applications receive a certified confirmation of a user's status instead of a copy of the underlying documentation.

The model shifts identity from repeated document sharing toward selective disclosure controlled by the user. This approach extends the decentralized identity framework used in Moca Network's Biletinial integration, where verifiable credentials support ticketing and reputation. AIR works in both directions, allowing companies to turn existing customer checks into credentials on Moca Chain or accept credentials issued by trusted partners.
