Moca Network Launches Moca Chain Mainnet for Decentralized Digital Identity
Moca Network has launched its Moca Chain mainnet, a Layer 1 blockchain designed for decentralized digital identity. The network's core proposition is to verify user identity once and use those credentials across various applications.
The Moca Chain uses privacy-preserving verifiable credentials through zero-knowledge proofs, zkTLS, and decentralized storage. This means users can prove their age, KYC status, or loyalty tier without revealing underlying data.
The network's integration layer, AIR, has onboarded over 3.3 million accounts and connected with partners whose combined customer bases reach tens of millions. One of those partners is SK Planet, which operates the OK Cashbag loyalty platform with over 28 million KYC'd users.
Kenneth Shek, managing director of Moca Network, framed AIR as a tool that gives users control over their identity data while enabling secure data-sharing mechanisms for AI agents.
