The Monad API Hub has launched a new pay-per-request blockchain data service that eliminates traditional barriers for developers and AI agents.

This innovative model, powered by the x402 v2 protocol, uses USDC stablecoin for payments and settles each API call on-chain as a microtransaction.

According to Monad, this approach standardizes pay-per-request payments across blockchains and competes with subscription-based API providers like Dune Analytics and The Graph.

The prices for the new service range from $0.01 to $7.50 per call, making it an attractive option for those who need occasional access to blockchain data.
