MoneyGram's latest move is bridging the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi) by connecting the real world to the digital one. The company's CEO, Anthony Soohoo, stated that anyone building on Solana can use their off-ramp, allowing users to put cash in or out at any of their 500,000 retail locations.

This integration makes it possible for users to convert their stablecoins into physical cash at hundreds of thousands of locations. The goal is to provide access to where the customers are, according to Soohoo.

The ultimate aim is to give developers access to MoneyGram's network and enable them to build on top of it. This new framework is meant for broad participation and will allow anyone who wants to innovate in the payments space to have the physical infrastructure to back up their digital applications.
