MoneyGram has launched its first stablecoin-backed Visa card in Colombia. This new digital MoneyGram Card supports spending USDC, mobile wallets, and cash pick-ups in local currency.

The card allows users to hold a balance of USDC and spend it online or across borders. They can also convert funds into local currency through MoneyGram's retail network.

MoneyGram's Chairman and CEO Anthony Soohoo stated that the service combines balance management, spending, and cash access within one interface.

The card is integrated within MoneyGram's existing customer journey, eliminating the need for a separate application. The company plans to launch in additional global markets during the coming months, although specific countries have not been named.
