MoneyGram has launched its first stablecoin-backed Visa card, marking a significant move in the adoption of digital currencies for everyday transactions. The card is backed by USDC, a stablecoin developed and managed by Circle Internet Group.

The MoneyGram Card allows users to load USDC onto the card, which can then be used for payments anywhere MoneyGram operates. This fusion of traditional payment methods with modern stablecoin infrastructure aims to provide a seamless experience for customers.

MoneyGram's CEO Anthony Soohoo stated that this new product 'builds on the power of our global payments network, bringing a stable-dollar balance, everyday spending and cash access into the MoneyGram experience customers already use and trust.'
