MoonPay, a global firm specializing in fiat-to-crypto conversions, has acquired North Capital Investment Technology for over $60 million. The acquisition is a strategic move by MoonPay to enter the field of tokenized securities, which has been gaining momentum since 2026.

North Capital offers back-end brokerage services and tools to tokenize debt, equity, and other assets. Its extensive portfolio of SEC licenses was a key factor in MoonPay's decision to purchase the company.
