MoonPay Teams Up With WisdomTree on Tokenized Treasury Fund Access

Financial technology company MoonPay has partnered with investment manager WisdomTree to expand US investor access to a tokenized Treasury money market fund.

The fund, called the WisdomTree Treasury Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX), seeks to maintain a $1 share price and offers investors exposure to high-quality, short-term US Treasury securities.

MoonPay will use its technology to develop an access point for WTGXX, allowing investors with over 35 million accounts across its network to buy into the fund.

The partnership also enables MoonPay to use WTGXX as part of its stablecoin reserves. The company launched its enterprise stablecoin business in November 2022 and issues dollar-denominated stablecoins across several blockchains, backed by US dollars and other high-quality liquid assets held in segregated accounts.
