MoonPay has released PayBox, an AI-powered payment vault designed for use within chat interfaces. This innovative solution enables users to execute various crypto transactions, including token swaps, cross-chain transfers, and DeFi interactions, while maintaining control over their wallet permissions.

The platform connects a user's crypto wallet and payment methods to the AI assistant, allowing it to prepare transactions based on natural-language instructions from the user. Users can require approval for every transaction or choose an approach where the AI is allowed to act automatically within limits defined by the user.

MoonPay emphasizes that PayBox protects wallet keys using multi-party computation and trusted execution environments to reduce direct access by both the AI assistant and MoonPay itself.
