MoonPay Unveils PayBox for Seamless AI-Powered Transactions

MoonPay has introduced PayBox, a feature that enables users to connect their AI assistants, including Claude and ChatGPT, to a payment vault. This allows users to manage transactions within conversations while retaining control of their funds.

With PayBox, users can instruct their AI agents to carry out actions such as converting money into stablecoins, swapping tokens, or making bookings, all without having to leave the chat interface.

The system uses a custom connector inside Claude or ChatGPT and supports Solana and various EVM-compatible chains. The first live integrations cover restaurant reservations, travel bookings, and shopping with major online retailers.
