Morgan Stanley, one of Wall Street's most prominent financial institutions, has expanded its suite of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to include ether and solana. The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust (MSOL) are now available on the NYSE Arca, tracking benchmark indexes built for institutional pricing.

The MSSE follows the CoinDesk Ether Benchmark 4PM NY Settlement Rate, while the MSOL tracks the CoinDesk Solana Benchmark 4PM NY Settlement Rate. Both products stake a portion of their holdings and pass through the rewards to investors, with Morgan Stanley planning to route the yield to shareholders rather than keep it as fee revenue.

The addition of these two new ETFs brings Morgan Stanley's total assets under management in digital-asset trusts to over $14 billion. The firm's wealth management arm oversees more than $9 trillion in client assets, giving it a significant reach into the financial market.
