Morgan Stanley Surpasses 9,000 BTC in Bitcoin Holdings
Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin holdings have surpassed 9,000 BTC for the first time. The bank's total holdings now stand at 9,218 BTC, valued at over $775 million. A significant transaction involving more than 1,100 BTC was recorded on September 25, 2026, from a Coinbase Prime custody address in connection with MSBT.
The move saw over $96 million transferred to Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin holdings. This increase brings the bank's total Bitcoin position above the 9,000 BTC milestone for the first time.
Morgan Stanley has been steadily increasing its Bitcoin holdings in recent months, and this latest development underscores the institution's growing interest in cryptocurrency investments.
