Morph, an Ethereum layer-2 network, has launched Morph Payments, a stablecoin payment platform designed for enterprises. This service enables businesses to accept stablecoin payments via simple payment links without requiring custom development.

Customers can pay using their existing wallets and preferred blockchain networks, with the platform supporting settlement on the business's preferred network. Payouts in stablecoins are also allowed to partners and employees.

The key differentiator is Morph Payments' non-custodial structure, where funds are stored directly in the business's own wallet, reducing counterparty risk and giving enterprises full control over their assets.

Morph Payments addresses another common friction point in crypto payments: gas fees. The platform allows gas fees to be paid in stablecoins, eliminating the need for businesses to hold native tokens like ETH for transaction costs.
