Morph Partners with Mastercard to Advance Stablecoin Settlements
Morph, a blockchain infrastructure developer, has officially joined the Mastercard Crypto Partner Program. The move, announced on September 30, 2026, aims to enhance cross-border stablecoin payment and settlement solutions for Web3 companies and creators.
The program connects digital asset firms, payment processors, and financial institutions to develop commercial applications for digital assets. Morph now stands alongside established members like Circle, BitGo, Ripple, and Paxos, focusing on business transfers, merchant collection, and international settlement.
Morph Payments operates a chain-agnostic platform that supports six Ethereum Virtual Machine networks, TRON, and Solana. This allows merchants to accept stablecoin transfers into non-custodial wallets, addressing operational challenges in Web3 commerce such as multi-chain invoicing and payment tracking.
Eric Cheung, APAC partnerships lead at Morph, highlighted the need for straightforward invoicing and payment tracking. He stated that joining the Mastercard program offers an opportunity to make these solutions more widely available.
Morph plans to collaborate with Mastercard and network participants to build automated stablecoin collection and payout flows for global businesses. The platform currently serves blockchain service providers, media outlets, and freelance contributors.
Morph operates two distinct blockchain networks: a Layer 2 network for low-cost, high-speed stablecoin transfers and Morph Tachyon, a Layer 1 network designed for high-frequency trading and market settlement.
