Morpho's official X account recently posted a statement that sparked controversy among its holders. The post claimed that most curator businesses, like Morpho's own model, are not self-sustaining due to vault fees and rely on private distribution agreements for survival. The statement was swiftly deleted the same day it was published.

Aave founder Stani Kulechov weighed in on the matter, calling the post 'the most bearish take' for Morpho holders. Meanwhile, CEO Paul Frambot attributed the deleted post to a third-party artificial intelligence marketing tool that allegedly published it without Morpho's knowledge or consent.
