Morpho Surges on DeFi Integrations, Confidential Vaults, and Institutional Credit
Morpho's price surged by 3.78% in a recent period due to several positive developments and growing narratives around its DeFi integrations.
The launch of Circle's cirBTC product, which allows institutional clients to borrow USDC against their BTC without selling it, has been approved with Morpho as the first third-party lending protocol. This integration positions Morpho as a primary venue for institutional BTC-collateralized borrowing and USDC liquidity.
Morpho's confidential vaults built with Zama have also attracted over $66M in deposits since their launch in September 2026, including more than $16M from RockawayX. These vaults encrypt balances and positions while allowing smart contracts to calculate yields, making it possible for users to earn yield without revealing exact position sizes.
The convergence of institutional DeFi credit, tokenized assets, and restaking capital is also driving the price surge. Multiple pieces of coverage have reframed Morpho as a structural winner in these larger shifts, positioning it as an attractive option for investors seeking high yields and security.
