Moscow Exchange Expands Regulated Crypto Market with Perpetual Futures Contracts
Russia's Moscow Exchange has expanded its regulated crypto market by introducing perpetual futures contracts linked to major digital assets. The new products cover Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana (SOL), XRP, and Tron, with trading restricted to qualified investors. These contracts are quoted in U.S. dollars but settled in Russian rubles.
The strongest link to the latest development is held by Solana, as SOL is one of the assets covered by the new perpetual futures contracts. This gives SOL a direct connection to Russia's formal financial markets and adds another venue where traders can manage exposure to the asset.
Other notable coins like Tezos (XTZ), LayerZero (ZRO), Uniswap (UNI), and SPX6900 (SPX) do not have a direct link to the Moscow Exchange contracts. However, their indirect connection to the Russian development may influence liquidity conditions across the sector.
