Moscow Exchange to Launch Perpetual Crypto Futures
The Moscow Exchange is set to launch perpetual futures on five crypto indices starting September 22. The contracts will be based on the exchange's existing digital asset futures, which have seen significant trading activity since their introduction in the summer of 2025.
According to the exchange, more than 72,000 investors have executed trades with a total transaction volume exceeding 600 billion rubles since the launch of the first digital asset futures. The new perpetual futures will be cash-settled one-day contracts with automatic renewal, quoted in US dollars and settled in Russian rubles.
The indices themselves cover Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and TRON, and do not involve the delivery of the underlying assets. This development marks another step in the growing integration of cryptocurrencies into traditional financial markets.
