MSTR Boosts USD Reserve to $5.1B, Creates $1.59B Cash Pool for Potential Bitcoin Purchases
Nasdaq-listed corporate software company MSTR has increased its USD reserve to $5.1 billion and created an additional $1.59 billion cash pool, which it may use for Bitcoin purchases or other purposes. The company has not bought BTC since June but remains a long-term buyer.
According to the filing, Strategy's buyback plan is focused on balance-sheet strength rather than retreat. President and CEO Phong Le stated that the company intends to remain a long-term bitcoin buyer.
The price of Bitcoin recently stood at $79,031, up 25% over a seven-day period, making this treasury and buyback activity bullish for crypto adoption and potential demand.
