Multicoin and Bitwise Move $8.7M in HYPE Tokens to Coinbase

Two prominent cryptocurrency investment firms, Multicoin Capital and Bitwise, have moved nearly $8.7 million worth of HYPE tokens to Coinbase.

The transactions occurred over a 10-hour period and have raised concerns among market observers about potential selling pressures on the asset.

Multicoin Capital transferred 137,100 HYPE tokens, valued at approximately $7.51 million, to Coinbase Prime, while Bitwise deposited 22,463 HYPE tokens, worth roughly $1.23 million, to Coinbase around nine hours ago.

The timing and size of these transfers have analysts monitoring HYPE's price action closely, as exchange deposits are often seen as a sign that holders may be preparing to liquidate their positions.
