Nadex Registers as US Securities Exchange for Single-Stock Futures
Crypto.com's futures venue Nadex has become a US-registered national securities exchange for security futures products, following its filing of Form 1-N on September 14, 2026. This move allows Crypto.com to list single-stock futures in the US market.
Nadex filed Form 1-N with the SEC, which automatically granted registration under Section 6(g) of the Securities Exchange Act. This provision enables a CFTC-designated contract market like Nadex to register as a national securities exchange for trading security futures products without requiring an SEC vote.
The registration is significant because it paves the way for Crypto.com's spin-off, OG.com, to offer single-stock futures in the US. The company has partnered with Robinhood to route football event contracts to OG.com and has taken equity stakes in both companies once the spin-off completes.
