Navra Raises $19 Million to Build AI-Driven Blockchain Investment Platform
Mike Cagney, a seasoned fintech entrepreneur, has launched his latest venture, Navra, which has just secured $19 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Ribbit Capital, with additional backing from Baseline, DCM, Jump Crypto, and Figure Technology Solutions. Navra aims to create an AI-driven platform that connects retail investors and institutions to multiple blockchain networks, either directly or through white-label partnerships.
The funding round closed on October 6, 2026, and Navra plans to use the capital to expand its AI infrastructure and enhance platform features to attract more users and partners. The company is targeting a limited rollout in late October 2026, beginning with select retail and institutional design partners before a broader launch.
Navra's first blockchain partner is Figure Technology Solutions, which will integrate its Democratized Prime yield protocol and the YLDS stablecoin into the platform. YLDS is notable as the first SEC-registered yielding stablecoin, offering regulatory compliance and returns to holders. Figure's ecosystem processes over $2 billion in real-world assets on the blockchain monthly, providing significant scale to the partnership.
Cagney, who co-founded SoFi and Figure, envisions Navra as a solution to key challenges in the blockchain DeFi space, including user experience, custody, and enterprise control. He believes that blockchain DeFi protocols have the potential to disrupt the $6 trillion asset-based finance market, provided these friction points are addressed.
