NEAR Brings Tokenized Stocks to Blockchain with Ondo Partnership

The cryptocurrency platform NEAR has partnered with Ondo Finance to bring tokenized versions of popular US stocks, ETFs, and commodity-linked products on-chain.

The initial lineup includes 20 assets, including Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, QQQ, SLV, and IAU. Users can fund purchases using supported crypto assets such as Bitcoin and USDC without opening a separate brokerage account.

The integration relies on NEAR Intents' intent-based routing system to handle cross-chain transactions between over 30 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron.
