Near Integrates Tokenized U.S. Stocks via Ondo Finance

Near and Ondo Finance have brought tokenized U.S. stocks to near.com, expanding access to traditional markets for eligible users in supported regions.

The integration allows users to buy, hold, and resell tokens using USDC, Bitcoin, or holdings across more than 30 blockchains via NEAR Intents, a cross-chain swap infrastructure that now also serves as a distribution channel for traditional financial assets on the blockchain.

Ondo Stocks launched with 20 tokenized assets, including tokens for Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon stocks. These tokens track the economic performance of the underlying stocks or ETFs but do not confer rights to receive the corresponding underlying stocks or ETFs.
