NEAR Intents Demands Hacker Return $3.8M in User Losses Within 48 Hours
NEAR Intents has issued an ultimatum to a hacker suspected of exploiting its Omni deposit and withdrawal infrastructure. The team claims it has identified the perpetrator, giving them 48 hours to return $3.8 million in user losses. General Manager Alex Shevchenko confirmed the identity and published three wallet addresses for returning Bitcoin (BTC), BNB, and Solana (SOL).
The security breach was discovered on Thursday, prompting NEAR Intents to pause related services. This is the next step in the incident response process after identifying the hacker.
