NEAR Intents has halted its cross-chain services after a significant security breach resulted in an estimated $3.8 million loss.

The exploit targeted the Omni infrastructure, but according to the team, the contract flaw has been patched and users will be fully compensated for their losses.

However, deposits and withdrawals on 11 blockchain networks, including BSC, Polygon, and Optimism, remain temporarily unavailable due to ongoing asset tracing efforts.

The NEAR Protocol token price fell by 6.7% to $4.96, while the Bitwise NEAR ETF (NRR) dropped 6.4%, erasing early gains after the exploit disclosure.
