NEAR Intents, a platform related to the Near protocol, recently suffered a security breach that resulted in the theft of $3.8 million. The platform's general manager, Alex Shevchenko, announced that the stolen funds had been recovered in full after the perpetrator was given 48 hours to return them under 'responsible disclosure.'

According to Shevchenko, the funds were sent back to NEAR Intents, and the platform has stopped its investigation into the matter. The incident occurred on Thursday, and the platform paused services after detecting a 'bug in the Omni deposit and withdrawal infrastructure interaction with NEAR Intents smart contract.'

NEAR Intents had pledged to compensate affected users in full, and the preliminary investigation found that the stolen funds were transferred to the KuCoin exchange and bridged to Bitcoin.
