NEAR Intents Smashes $1B Weekly Milestone in Cross-Chain Activity
NEAR Intents has hit a new milestone, processing over $1 billion in cross-chain value in just seven days without relying on bridges or wrapped tokens. This achievement marks a significant all-time high for the protocol, which has processed a cumulative volume of $29.531 billion since launch.
The recent activity breaks down as follows: 24-hour volume reached $303.42 million, a new single-day record for NEAR Protocol. For context, the entire protocol's all-time total volume in July 2025 was just $409 million.
NEAR Intents' unique approach to cross-chain infrastructure involves users stating what outcome they want, such as native BTC in exchange for native SOL. A competing network of solvers then works to fulfill that request directly, without creating wrapped or synthetic tokens or relying on traditional bridge contracts.
