This surge is not driven by a single headline event but rather a chain-wide move, with nearly every major protocol on the network posting weekly gains north of 40%, according to data from DefiLlama.

Rhea Finance stands out as the largest driver of Near's TVL, holding $224.27 million in value and up 46.40% over the past seven days and a staggering 95.22% over the past month.

Liquid staking is another clear engine behind this move, with Meta Pool Near holding $92.27 million in TVL and LiNEAR Protocol sitting at $90.02 million, both posting near-identical, extremely strong percentage gains in the same window.
