NEAR Soars 78.2% as Near Protocol Expands Privacy-Focused Trading Services
Near Protocol's native token NEAR has surged nearly 80% in the past week, outperforming the broader crypto market.
The price of NEAR rose to around $4.29 on Monday, according to CoinGecko, with a seven-day gain of 78.2%. In comparison, the total cryptocurrency market capitalization increased by about 6% over the same period.
Near Protocol has been expanding its privacy-focused trading services, including confidential deposits and withdrawals for perpetual futures trading through near.com. This feature obscures the link between a trader's funding wallet and their Hyperliquid trading account.
The network also announced that its confidential total value locked (TVL) had surpassed $70 million, triggering a milestone in the NEAR@3.33 incentive program. The program allocated 333,333 tokens for distribution when the three-day volume-weighted average price reaches at least $3.33.
