Neutron DAO Proposal Sparks $9.3M Crypto Losses

The Neutron DAO passed a new proposal on September 22, which led to the disappearance of $9.3 million in crypto assets.

Security tracker SlowMist estimated that Astroport lost around $4.9 million and Drop lost around $4.4 million as a result of the proposal.

The proposal, titled 'AIATO: AI Agent Takeover. Phase 1: Agent Admin Registration,' included 11 Update Admin actions that allowed for changes to contract administrators at the chain level.

A network halt was implemented, but it's unclear how much of the lost value can be recovered.
