New Crypto Bull Market May Surpass Previous Cycles
Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine (BMNR), believes that a new bull market has begun in the cryptocurrency space. Speaking at Korea Blockchain Week 2026, Lee stated that this cycle could be even bigger than previous ones.
The key drivers behind this potential growth include tokenization, which is gaining significant attention as efforts to represent real-world assets on the blockchain continue to accelerate. This development is expected to further integrate blockchain technology with traditional finance.
Lee also highlighted capital flows linked to intergenerational wealth transfer and increased cryptocurrency purchases by institutional investors as supporting factors for the current market. Additionally, he noted that digital asset treasury (DAT) companies can hold crypto assets on their balance sheets for extended periods, which may amplify the impact of the new bull market.
