Oracle's massive AI data center development in New Mexico has been affected by recent flooding, but fortunately, no critical systems were damaged. The Project Jupiter facility, a joint effort between Oracle and STACK Infrastructure, is designed to deliver 2.45 gigawatts of power capacity.

The flooding, which reached the site in southern New Mexico, did not affect essential infrastructure components, according to an update from both companies. They emphasized that development continues according to the original timeline, with construction timelines remaining unchanged.

The facility serves as a critical component within the Stargate artificial intelligence infrastructure initiative, which includes partners Oracle, OpenAI, and SoftBank. A consortium of approximately 20 financial institutions provided an $18 billion financing package for the development.
